It's time to get your health back together.
For almost four decades, Dr. Stan Gale has helped families, athletes, and neighbors across Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Atwater Village get out of pain and back into their lives — through hands-on chiropractic care, applied kinesiology, and honest, unhurried attention.
A visit built around actually understanding you.
Most people have never spent real time with a doctor who listens first and treats second. Here's what to expect from your first visit.
A thorough consultation
Dr. Gale spends real time asking questions and understanding what you're experiencing — every clue matters before any hands go on your back.
Plain-language education
You'll learn how your body actually works, in simple terms, so the care that follows makes sense — not just something done to you.
Painless, thorough testing
Your body is checked systematically using applied kinesiology, so you can see for yourself where the barriers to feeling better really are.

Three generations, one solar-powered office.
The Echo Park office is also home to Dr. Gale and his family — a solar-powered house where they grow organic vegetables and keep bees between patient visits. His wife Debbie is often the friendly voice on the phone alongside longtime staff member Julie, and patients notice the difference: here, you're not just a chart, you're part of the family.
Family care and sports chiropractic, under one roof.
Family, Pediatric & Prenatal Care
From fertility and pregnancy through infancy, childhood, and the teenage years, Dr. Gale works with the whole family — helping every stage of life move and function a little better.
Sports & Performance Chiropractic
Dr. Gale is an athlete himself, and works with athletes, dancers, and performers to restore range of motion, strength, and coordination — so you can get back to performing at your best.

He started out fixing motorcycles. Now he fixes people.
Long before applied kinesiology, Dr. Gale was elbow-deep in motorcycle engines. He's still an avid rider today — motocross is widely considered one of the most physically demanding sports there is, testing balance, reaction time, and full-body strength on every jump and landing. That firsthand understanding of what a body under real strain needs is exactly what he brings to every athlete, dancer, and weekend warrior who walks through his door.
Common reasons patients first call the office.
Nearly forty years of Echo Park families saying the same thing.
It's not often you run into a genuinely good person, and Stan is the man. My family — four kids and my wife — have been seeing him for over 10 years. He's very good, especially for the price.
Dr. Gale is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. He really takes his time with you and gets to the core issues. I leave feeling great, and I've gained new knowledge every time.
I've had shoulder and neck problems for years and bounced between chiropractors and massage therapists. Dr. Gale took the time to explain everything and helped me build a real long-term plan. Thank you, Dr. Gale!
I've been going to Dr. Gale for 25 years now, and he's always been able to help me with whatever I've had going on. He's a total pro — and a great guy who genuinely cares about his patients.
I had a terrible headache one day. Dr. Gale spent real time finding out where the problem was coming from, adjusted my neck and back, and the headache was gone by the end of the session.
I could barely walk when I came in. After one visit, I had my stride back and it felt good to walk again. I still can't quite believe it.
